The hike is scheduled on the 16th of July 2022 and we are aiming to do the magnificent 5-Lakes Hike on Pizol (image taken from their website).
It will be a 11.4 km hike (about 4:30 h) with 550 m ascent and 911 m descent.
We will take the train Zürich HB to Wangs Talstation Pizolbahnen at 07:07 am from platform 10. (1h15 travel one way).
It is everybody’s responsibility to purchase a valid ticket until departure. You will be sent a reminder/detailed mail on the itinerary beginning of July.
Also we would like to highlight two tricks for “bargain hunters” regarding travelling costs:
- SBB currently offers a “Friend-Pass” for only CHF 80,-. With this up to 4 people can travel the whole day on a single pass. So if you organize yourselves in groups of colleagues and friends, this can save quite some money. The day ticket needs to be purchased until the 30th of June and is valid for a specific day. All people travelling with the daypass need to have a “Halbtax” abonnement.
- If you do not have a “Halbtax” yet: ETH offers employees the Halbtax for free! It also reduces the costs for the gondola.
